The Nitty Gritty – Bungie Weekly Update (1/28/10) Made Simple!

So every Friday Bungie puts out a weekly update with some info about Halo Reach and more. While it is usually a decent read, many times it can get, well, a little wordy. So without futher adieu, this is the first issue of the HaloCollectors Nitty Gritty. Think of it as the Cliff Notes version of the book that Bungie puts out every week in the update… All the info you want, without all the filler to make you waste an extra ten minutes of your life that you could be using to play Halo…

– Just over 100,000 people completed Winter Contingency LASO for the weekly challenge, and we have been warned that there are more LASO challenges coming…

– Community Slayer Grab Bag will be coming back eventually, but instead of the maps being used “as is,” Bungie will be working to tweak necessary issues with weapons, spawns, etc…

– Community Big Team Slayer is on the horizon…

– A “sizable” playlist update is coming in February at some point, followed by another in March…

– Firefight Arcade will be returning in the near future, but with a few undisclosed changes…

– No Grab Bag playlists will be going live this week…

– A new round of updates to the mobile version of Bungie.net will be launching soon…

– A contest is being held to see who can create the best birthday card for Bungie employees…

– Lots of Droid phone wallpapers are available for download…
